The 2026 Cut Mums Liner Program is Complete

Cut Mums are a great end-of-season addition to your cut flower program. Planted in high tunnels in late May or mid-June, these plants will produce an abundance of cut flowers late in the season, providing fresh flowers up until November for many growers.
Cut Mums are a great crop to rotate into your high tunnels after your Anemone and Ranunculus have gone dormant from the higher temps of late spring. Cut Mum liners are offered by:
-
Gro'n Sell in Pennsylvania for shipping in the U.S., and
-
George Sant & Sons in Ontario for shipping in Canada and the U.S.
NOTE: Orders shipping across the border to or from Canada will incur additional Phyto and broker fees.
ALSO NOTE: Each grower/supplier may not offer all of the varieties in the latest Cut Mums liner brochure. You may need to order from several growers to get all the varieties you want.
Read through the Ball Seed Cut Mums liner brochure here! The varieties are listed as Early, Mid, and Late in the literature. Be sure to keep that in mind as you choose varieties to grow.
It is recommended that these Cut Mums be grown with the protection of a high tunnel. Northern growers may need supplemental heat to protect the later blooming varieties from freezing weather. Remember, these mum are Plant Patent Protected varieties. You are not allowed to take cuttings to produce additional plants. (With these priced at about $1.00 each, why would anyone want to spent time to take their own cuttings anyway?) You can read all about U.S. Plant Patents HERE.
Any of the Syngenta Flowers genetics of Cut Mums, grown by Gro 'n Sell and George Sant and Sons, need to be placed by Feb 13th. The suppliers don't plan to have extras so place your order TODAY. Look for "MumCF" on WebTrack.
FYI: Raker-Roberta's Young Plants has decided to only offer Cut Mums as a special order item, with a three tray minimum per variety. Contact your Rep if you would like to place an order with Raker-Roberta.
